Soap Oils

28.01.15

Our natural soap bars are handcrafted in the cold process from various vegetable and nut oils and butters. There are no animal fats among ingredients. Cold process means that we create the soap from the scratch with “raw materials”, applying our own recipes and ideas. That is why before the soap becomes ready for the usage, it cures for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

Algarvian olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and a bit of castor oil are present in most of our soaps to ensure their richness, nice creamy lather and bubbles, and yet hardness and great cleansing. Additionally used expensive oil or butter gives to the soap its unique identity.

The olive oil, that we buy from the local farmers in the Algarve, is the heart of every our soap bar. Depending on the soap, the Algarvian olive oil accounts for 35% - 50% of total oils in the soap. All the rest oils and butters we acquire from the company in Spain, well trusted among soapmakers supplier.
